Blog Entry: Yesterday I said a last good bye to friend and neighbor. John “Mick” Buyer was a cow man. His family homesteaded in this area well over 100 years ago. He was raised around the land and livestock and a lifetime of hard work. We shared a great many laughs together. The stories he told of days gone by were many of the same ones I had heard from my dad's family, also from here. We also shared a birth date, December 12, although his was 23 years earlier. There is so much I could say about Mick but right now it still hurts too much. Happy Trails Mick.
