At the moment, I don't have a horse. :( Sad but true. (I'm not quite ready to have my own horse just yet. I need to learn a little more before I'm ready.)

Richie says it's a good thing I don't have my own horse right now or else I'd never come out of the barn. :D

Where do I begin? Country, New Age, Hard Rock, Alternative, Soft Rock's okay, basically anything besides rap and r&b.

anything by R.A. Salvatore, The Black Jewels Trilogy, The Wheel of Time series, The Tao of Equus, Horse Follow Closely, Flint and Feather, and there was a series of 6 books I loved when I was younger called Seceret of the Unicorn Queen. I can't remember all the authors' names and haven't been able to find it since I was young. :(

OK, I've sat back long enough....here goes.....

Hi! I'm K. I don't have my own horse just yet, but I'm working on it. I don't feel that I know enough about them to care for one confidently just yet.

As for more about me, I'm not really sure where to begin...I just turned 28 (19 May), I live in North Florida with my "husband"(we're not acutally married...it's a long story....I'll explain later) and 2 sons ages 6 & 3, I work at home, trying desperately to keep after the housework, but alas, it is impossible. (I lie! the house has been clean for 3 days now! Woo Hoo! 6/19) I enjoy listening to music, spending time with friends and family, cooking, gardening, reading, putzing around on the computer, and occasionally watching movies or even rarely, the tv.

I try to keep a sense of humor, but I have to admit that I'm not always successful. I have a wicked temper although I've managed to tone down a lot in the past few years. I'm stubborn, willful, sometimes sarcastic, but I'm also caring and I'll do anything for a friend (and even I admit that it's not always a good thing. It can get a girl into trouble.) I'm open, honest, loyal, and I try to be polite and friendly as often as I can. We see far too little kindness in the world and I think it's a good day if I can make someone smile by a simple kind act.

On the spiritual side, I've been pagan for more than half my life and I've never harmed anyone. (Unless broken hearts count then yes, I have hurt someone before, much to my dismay) I've been studying Shamanism recently and I hope that I've finally found the path I was ment to follow. Only time will tell however.
