Of course, I was the lead mare is pasrute two long before last night! But last night I made sure all the other horses knew it. I took the three pans of grain outside: One for Duke(the large chestnut), one for Fancy(a small black mare), and one for my boy, the infamous Maxie. I get a low repectful rumble from my boy, or Duke. Max and I have been doing great lately! I better knock on wood though, it seems every time I say that on TW we go downhill again. Anyway, Monday afternoon I was giving maxie a good workout (I hadn't in a while and felt bad), but he was being silly because I'd ask him to trot, and he'd canter, and I'd ask him to canter, and he'd trot! Eventually I got him to do what I wanted and give him a few peppermint treats for being good in the end. :)... Read More
