Yesterday, I was having a nice bareback trot through the field in the back in the barn property and out of nowhere, Max spooked. I stayed on, and firgured it must have been a tree or something that scared him. I didn't think much of it since I didn't fall, and it wasn't a big spook. Max and I have been doing great lately! I better knock on wood though, it seems every time I say that on TW we go downhill again. Anyway, Monday afternoon I was giving Maxie a good workout (I hadn't in a while and felt bad), but he was being silly because I'd ask him to trot, and he'd canter, and I'd ask him to canter, and he'd trot! Just for the record, this blog is not about Max. :) But... I am writing tto tell you all that in 2 weeks, I have my VERY FIRST SHOW!!!!! :D:D:D Now, it is ot on Max obviously. And really, it is only going to be a walk/trot class. But still! And I get to use my favourite throughbred ever, Jimmy. He is the BEST! Last night, I finally got to start real jumps... I mean, if you consider like 8 inches a jump. xD But still, the trot poles WERE stacked so I coonsider it a jump. :)... Read More
