Anyone else go to the National Quarter Horse Congress over the weekend? :) I went with my cousin. We watched lots of Hunter classes and pole bending... There were some kid that hardly looked like they were even 5 years old! But the pole beding was pretty cool. There was tons of vendors, too. So last night at my lesson, my instructor had me trotting the horse (not max) around the arena, when she called me to the middle. She said to me, "So, what do you really want to do?" "What?" "Like, jumping, dressage..." "Oh. Well, jumping I guess." So she taught me how to do the 2 point position (for CC: That is the position jumpers get in while going over jumps. :D) and then made me stay like that AND walk the horse around the ring.
