My name is Debbie and I live in Tooele Utah....so sounds like just over the border from a lot of you! My husband and I currently own 17 horses. I have 12 minis (2 of them are in MO--weaners) and use them primarily for therapy work. My one mini, Daisy, is Delta Certified and has been doing this type of work for going on 9 yrs now. My biggest mini is 38" and Daisy, my littlest, is 29". My husband is the one that has brought 4 big horses to the mix. We have a TB, and TB/paint x, a TB/percheron x, and an appendix. We are expecting 2 babies out of the TB and appendix this year. So, those of you coming to the clinic in July might get to play with babies too!!!! My one gaited horse is a coming 5 MFT named Tigger. He has only been under saddle since September, so we are both still learning lots. I have never trained a big horse before, and believe you me, its a lot
different than training a mini!!! I used to work at a therapeutic riding center for several years which is where I actually fell in love with the MFT's. I love their personalities, their trainability, and their temperments. Eventually, I want Tigger to be my therapy riding horse. He has got the mind and
temperment for it, now I just need the training. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and hopefully
soon meeting some of you!!!!!
