This is still not complete, but as I found out an ongoing thing!

I bred my Polish Bay Arabian mare to a few spot leopard Appaloosa Stallion.  All his babies threw 100% loud color, so you can imagine how surprised I was  when a solid bay filly was born!  I registered her as a half arabian since she showed no color. Her registered name is Wednesday's Mystery Star.  I would only register her as an Appaloosa only if she showed color.  Low and behold, several months after she was born, she one day developed spots!  Then more and more spots.  I called the ApHC and got approval and now she has her registration as an Appaloosa.  Everyday, she is changing.  I am glad to have named her Wednesday's Mystery Star (Both registries) since her color has truly been a mystery!  Check out the slide show on Photobucket. (more to come)

well congrats!

I personally don't have spotted fever, but I do have several friends that do.  Apparently some of them babies can wait a while before they spot out....sometimes up to a year or so!
