The best books I've read so far this month.
I love to read and really love spreading the word about those books that just flat keep you up at night until you finish them. So if you enjoy fat ''history saga's'' check out....
1. The Piney Ridge Trilogy...by Janice Holt Giles
Janice Holt Giles wonderful Piney Ridge stories of 'The enduring hills', 'Miss Willie' and 'Tara's healing' all in one book. Written in 1950 her humorous, heartbreaking and vivid descriptions of all she see's and does captures your imagination with every page. You'll come to know and love her very colorful neighbors, her Kentucky backwoods mountain and her often hard life amongst them all. It's non fiction, highly entertaining and a must read!
2. River of Doubt......by Candice Millard
President Theodore Roosevelts true story of his adventures in 1912 down the then uncharted waters of the Amazon River.
Enjoy!
