I went to see max last night and he did SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! It was crazy! Like he had never even been bad :) He stood stock still while I as brushing him, and hardly pawed at ALL. Well, that is until I got on him. Then he wanted to run since we had let him run himself out a little. But he got better, and so did I. Grr! I leave max alone for a few days and all of a sudden he thinks he's in charge! I didn't even get on him today because he was stomping and thrashing his head, and generally acting like he was in charge. I will get on him soon enough though. My friends Mom (who is an ex-horse trainer) is going to give him a serious attitude adjustment. But until then, anyone have any tips on telling max who is boss?... Read More

Yeah so I fell again. It wasn't NEAR as fun this time. Anywhere near. Er, at least I don't think it was. I don't know because... I PASSED OUT BEFORE FALLING OFF. max spooked and started bucking. I started sliding to the right and then passed out. I don't remember falling but I can somewhat recall hitting the ground and rolling over once. I landed on my bad arm but it's not hurt. So last night at my lesson, my instructor had me trotting the horse (not max) around the arena, when she called me to the middle. She said to me, "So, what do you really want to do?" "What?" "Like, jumping, dressage..." "Oh. Well, jumping I guess." So she taught me how to do the 2 point position (for CC: That is the position jumpers get in while going over jumps. :D) and then made me stay like that AND walk the horse around the ring. So, I finnally got my dream pony!! :DDD Just yesterday, my mom, friend cody, cousin Mina, uncle and I were lost in the middle of nowhere, looking for the place where max was beong kept. We eventually found it but we were a 1/2 hour late. XD Oh well. We signed all the papers and crap and then, his owner handed me a paper that said "American Bashkir Curly Registry".
