Ok Gang,

We are now running on our new dedicated server.

Some of you may have noticed messages that you already read being "NEW" again.

Some pictures got deleted, Please reupload. :)

We lost 3 Members, two of whom are back witrh us. (Thanks for understanding)

And a few little "bugs" here and there.

But the good news is, we made it out in good shape.

We now have the capcity to host 500,000 members plus, so lets spread the word.

Not going too well. We have started day 3 with the changing of the servers.

So far, the only issues have be an extremely slow site, and we are not able to upload pics, videos, or music.

It seems everything else is working.

*What we are doing*

The hosting company we use has had some major server problems lately. I have contacted them several times about some issues regarding our site. They decided to install new servers, and database servers for us.

During this time, you may not be able to log on to the site, may have an extremely slow connection, or no connection at all.

They (the hosting company) have assured me this will be a seemless process, but that theory has now been shot full of holes.

Believe me when I tell you I am doing all I can to maintain this site to be the best it can be. These issues are out of my control.

Before they starting swapping the servers around, I went in and made a full backup of our site, in case we needed to find another server to host us. I am hoping this will not be the case, as it would cause our site(s) to be down for several days.

On of the most important features of Tackwagon.com is the ability to design your profile...The Way You Want It!

Here you have the option of setting your background, Setting ALL the profile colors, and MORE.

Concrete_Cowboy designed his profile by uising a small img effect css in the custom field, and then using the options in the profile designer. The css is the only outside source he used to create his profile, and the effect is the faded outline of each picture on his profile.

When you choose this option, you will see a link at the top of the options list called [view profile layout guide].

Click this link, and a pop-up will appear with easy directions of what each item title stands for. Trust me, this will be both easy and Fun!

If you choose to use a Myspace Profile, do so in the Custom css Box.

Please note, All myspace profiles are not compatible with Tackwagon. If you want to do some searches, we use PhpFox 1.5.1 software to run this community.

Howdy everyone.

Our new system is alot different than the old one, and somewhat different than Myspace.com.

When you log in, you will notice submenus which are accurately titled.

Take a few minutes to wander around the new site, and check out the many features available.

The Settings menu is of most importance. Here you can design your profile is a thousand plus ways. 

DO NOT put any css or myspace profiles in the section marked "Profile Settings". It will work, but there is a much betyter way.

We will discuss that later......

In the Profile Settings, there are several options available to tell the world about yourself. Please do so.  

These options are self explanatory.

There is also a Profile Picture menu. Use this when you want to change your Profile Picture.

Account settings are important. Check inside here for options on how you handle your messages via EMail.

Finally, the is the Design my Profile... This will be a legnthy discussion, so I will make another blog for this....
